The above average temperatures is taking a toll on Green Country.
EMSA reported three people were treated for heat-related illness Saturday. That came a day after three other victims fell ill to the heat and had to be taken to the hospital.
EMSA has not issued a heat alert as it has not met the criteria. Saturday's high temperature of 89 degrees was more than 10 degrees above normal.
Last year was the hottest summer in Oklahoma history. Over 300 people in the greater Tulsa area were treated for heat-related illness including one fatality.
