Tulsa Restaurant Donates 3 New Computers To Skiatook Fire

Skiatook Fire Department gets three new portable computers worth more than $13,000.

Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation has donated 3 Panasonic Tough Book portable computers worth more than $13,000 to the Skiatook Fire Department.

The durable computers will be used in command vehicles and will allow the department to receive specific safety information needed at the scene of an emergency.

"It is an honor and a privilege to be able to support the men and women who have dedicated their lives to protect ours," said Jim White, franchisee of the Tulsa Firehouse Subs restaurant.

According to their news release, since 2005, Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation has donated more than $21,000 to Oklahoma public safety entities
