Oklahoma State women's basketball player Jenni Bryan is transferring to Oral Roberts.

Oral Roberts confirmed the move Wednesday afternoon and the Golden Eagles formally announced her transfer Thursday in a press release.

Bryan, a 5'9 sophomore for the Cowgirls, played in 30 games her freshman year, but saw her playing time decrease in her second season at OSU. In her sophomore year, Bryan averaged 1.7 points and 1.3 rebounds in 8.6 minutes per game.

ORU confirms that because she is transferring, Bryan must sit out next season, but says she will have two full years of eligibility left after that.

The Golden Eagles also announced on Wednesday that head coach Jerry Finkbeiner is leaving the ORU squad to take the same position at Utah State.

No information on a new head coach for the women's team has been released at this time.

The Cowgirls were this year's WNIT Champions while ORU was 20-11 on the year, marking the third straight 20-plus win season for the school.

Bryan, a Coweta High School standout averaged 17.3 points and 11 rebounds per game her senior year.

Bryan was originally recruited out of high school by ORU as well as Tulsa, Missouri, Louisville and Texas Tech.

She will join fellow Oklahoman Taylor Cooper, who signed with the Golden Eagles during the early signing period from Shawnee High School on next year's ORU roster.

Bryan is the daughter of Rick Bryan, a former OU and NFL defensive lineman.
