Catoosa Pair Charged With Running Meth Lab, Cruelty To Animals

Law enforcement authorities arrested a man and woman in a meth lab bust at a Catoosa home Sunday. Wagoner County Sheriff's Office and Catoosa Police found 30 one-pot meth labs, weapons including a firearm, paraphernalia and methamphetamine at the home in the 19500 block of East 1st Place.

They arrested Terry Lee Young, 49, and Kristi Le Maner, 45.

The home in the Rolling Hills addition also contained gas generators and a number of cats, according to Wagoner County Sheriff Bob Colbert.

"There were several cats in the home; one of the cats appeared to be in such poor condition that Catoosa Animal control retrieved the animal," Colbert said in a release.

The cat "had either been exposed to the process or gotten into some of the chemicals," Major Gary Handley, WCSO, said Monday.

The cat was to be examined by a veterinarian through the shelter, he said.

Young and Maner are being held at the Wagoner County Jail on complaints of manufacturing meth, possession of a controlled drug, possession of a firearm in commission of a felony, possession of drug paraphernalia, assault with a dangerous weapon and cruelty to animals.
