Tulsa Police Investigate Unattended Death

Tulsa Police have responded to an unattended death in the 6700 block of East 27th Place.

An elderly woman was found dead inside her home. Police were called to the scene at about 3:30 p.m.

Homicide detective were called to the scene, but detectives now say it appears there was no foul play involved.

They say the woman was wearing a trash bag like a poncho, and that's why there was initially some suspicion.

They believe the woman died sometime Tuesday or Wednesday.
