Trash Truck Rams Turley House, Driver Taken To Hospital

A Tulsa trash truck driver apparently experiencing a medical issue wrecked into a north Tulsa house Friday morning.

It happened in the 1400 block of 71st Street North at about 10:30 a.m.

The truck went through two yards, taking out a gas meter and a mailbox before hitting the front porch of a house. The house was pushed off its foundation by about a foot.

The home was vacant and for sale.

The 31-year-old driver was taken to a local hospital in fair condition. No other injuries have been reported.
