PSO confirms that power has been restored to the Tulsa Hills Shopping Center and nearby businesses at 71st Street and U.S. Highway 75.

A dump truck at 71st near Olympia made contact with overhead lines at the shopping center entrance on South 71st. This caused a couple of PSO power lines to come into contact with each other, according to Stan Whiteford of PSO.

A breaker automatically tripped, which cut power to all 475 customers at Tulsa Hills Shopping Center, as well as some other buildings nearby.

PSO crews were able to determine that there was no damage to their lines or equipment, and restored power in just a few minutes.

The damaged lines all belong to Cox cable, and Cox crews are now on scene to repair the damage.
