One of our photographers spotted a large group of people walking around Tulsa. He stopped to ask them what they were doing, and it wasn't just enjoying the weather.
About 75 people from Ihloff Salon and Day Spa were walking four miles to draw attention to water issues.
They say four miles is the average distance people have to walk to get water.
Here in the U.S. it can be as simple as turning a faucet, and Sara Crunkleton said that's an issue.
"It's something we all take for granted," said Sara Crunkleton of Marilyn Ihloff Salon. "Just even when we're brushing our teeth, we leave the water running or we take a 20 minute shower instead of five.
We'd like to let other people know about how fortunate we are and how unfortunate other people are."
Crunkleton said they're also walking to raise funds for the Gulf Restoration Network. They say it benefits people who are still feeling the effects of the Gulf Oil Spill.
She said it's important to remember not all water issues are outside of our country.
