ORU's Bowen Earns Second Pitcher Of Week Honor

Oral Roberts right hander Drew Bowen was named the Summit League Pitcher of the Week Monday, his second such honor of the season.

Bowen threw a complete game shutout Friday against the Missouri State Bears to propel him to the weekly accolade.

Against the Bears, Bowen recorded five strikeouts with one walk while giving up six hits in the 1-0 ORU victory. It was Bowen's second complete game shutout of the season.

The conference honor is the third of his career.

Oral Roberts returns to action Thursday, March 22 on the road against Cal State Fullerton at 8 p.m.
