Tulsa Police are investigating a stabbing early Wednesday morning in the 8900 block of East Marshall.
Police got involved after the victim and a friend drove up to a McDonald's at Admiral and Memorial at midnight.
The victim began banging on the doors of the restaurant, prompting a call to police. When officers arrived, they found the victim, a man in his early 20s, lying in the parking lot.
The friend in the car told officers he and the victim had driven to a house on East Marshall. The victim got out and went inside. A short time later the victim got back into the car, telling the friend he had been stabbed.
Tulsa Police Sergeant Darren Bristow says when the victim arrived at the McDonald's, he got out of the car and banged on the drive thru window.
"The employee shut the window. He walked around and started beating on the lobby door which was locked. The employees looked out and noticed he was bleeding pretty badly on the sidewalk. They called 911, police and fire," said Sgt. Darren Bristow.
Police say the friend declined to say why he and the victim had gone to the house in the first place.
It is believed the victim may have known the person who stabbed him.
EMSA took the man to a Tulsa hospital. Police say he is expected to survive.
