Miami Residents Raise Money For Murdered Baby's Family

People in Miami, Okla., are helping raise money for the family of a little Quapaw boy authorities believe was murdered.

On Feb. 12, 17-month-old Lanceton Hollenbeck died. His father's girlfriend is charged with the murder.

On Sunday, a softball tournament was held in Miami to help raise money for the surviving family.

It included dozens of balloons released in Lanceton's memory.

Organizers are still counting the money but say they raised at least $3,000.

According to police records, the suspect, Skye Reece, claims Lanceton fell off of his bed. Authorities believe his injuries were too severe to be an accident.
