MEMPHIS, Tennessee – In a two-point loss at the buzzer, it's easy to look back and think about little things that could have translated into a win.

And for Tulsa coach Matilda Mossman, there were two things she said really stood out in her team's 66-64 loss at Memphis on Sunday.

"It boils down to our turnovers and putting them at the free throw line," she said. "We had 24 turnovers and they shot 31 free throws. They haven't been a good free throw shooting team, but we didn't put them on the line on purpose. I am really proud of our effort and the way we fought. With just seven seconds left, I thought we were going to overtime, but it wasn't meant to be."

Memphis allowed TU to stay in the game thanks to the Tigers' low shooting percentages, and the result was 11 ties and 21 lead changes in the game.

But in the end, the difference was a single offensive rebound for the Tigers. Danay Collier missed a layup with second remaining but Memphis' Ramses Lonlack was right there to tap the ball in as time expired.

Taleya Mayberry let Tulsa with 23 points, including five 3-pointers. Taylor Hooker recorded her second career double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds.

The Golden Hurricane will wrap up the regular season with a home game against SMU. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. Thursday at the Reynolds Center.
