No Evidence Of Medical Problem In Plane Crash That Killed Two OSU Coaches

A medical examiner in Arkansas says there's no evidence an 82-year-old pilot suffered any medical problems before a plane crash that killed him, his wife and two Oklahoma State University basketball coaches.

The Associated Press got copies of their autopsy reports with a Freedom of Information request.

The results show pilot Olin Branstetter's death was "instantaneous," but the medical examiner couldn't determine how he died.

The National Transportation Safety Board released its first report on the plane crash shortly after it happened.  According to the NTSB's Preliminary Report, the plane was making turns then nose dived into dense woods.

Branstetter and his wife and fellow pilot, Paula, were ferrying head coach Kurt Budke and assistant coach Miranda Serna to Little Rock for a recruiting trip when the plane went down in dense woods near Perryville in November 2011.
