OKLAHOMA CITY - Oklahoma lawmakers move forward on a bill to crackdown on drunk drivers.
On Tuesday, the state House of Representatives approved a bill to increase the maximum punishment for personal injury accidents involving a DUI that results in serious bodily harm.
Right now, the maximum penalty is five years in prison, but this new measurement would increase that to ten years.
The bill now goes to the Senate.
