Rogers County Toddler Seriously Injured After Pit Bull Attack

A Rogers County toddler was rushed to the Claremore Regional Hospital after the child was bitten by a pit bull Thursday afternoon.

The Rogers County Sheriff's office says the child—whose exact age and sex is unknown—suffered serious lacerations to its head and face.

Deputies say the dog is a family pet.

The Department of Human Services is assisting the Rogers County Sheriff's Office in its investigation.
