Glen Campbell Makes Tulsa Stop In Farewell Tour

Singer and entertainer Glen Campbell, who received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Grammy Awards show Sunday on CBS, will be in Tulsa in March.

Country singer and entertainer Glen Campbell will perform in Tulsa during his farewell tour.

Campbell, who received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Grammy Awards show Sunday on CBS, has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease.

He is touring a final time and will be at the Osage Event Center at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 27.

Campbell's top hits include "Rhinestone Cowboy," "Wichita Lineman," "Galveston" and "By the Time I Get to Phoenix." He hosted a TV variety series, The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour from 1968-1972 and co-starred with John Wayne in the 1969 film True Grit.
