While most roads and highways in the Tulsa area are wet and slushy, roads west, north and east of Tulsa are snow packed and slick.
The Oklahoma Department of Transportation has crews out applying sand and salt to highways, especially bridges in most of northeast Oklahoma.
ODOT is advising drivers to plan for additional travel time and be alert for slick spots, especially on bridges.
Snow began falling late Sunday and continued into the early morning hours of Monday.

Tulsa Police worked a number of weather-related wrecks Monday, including one on I-244 at Memorial and another wreck on Mingo at 85th Street South.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol was also busy working wrecks across northeastern Oklahoma Monday morning.
The snow also caused a number of schools across northeastern Oklahoma to close for the day.

The National Weather Service in Tulsa says estimated snowfall amounts across northeastern Oklahoma range from one to two inches of snow Monday.
