Falling Groceries Blamed For Tulsa Car Crash

A driver lost control of her car and slammed into a fence after trying to keep groceries from falling out of the front seat.

The crash happened just before midnight Tuesday at the intersection of 61st Street South and 75th East Avenue.

Tulsa Police say the driver was headed home after shopping at a nearby Walmart when her groceries began falling out of a bag.

When the woman tried to grab the falling groceries she drove off the road and hit a stop sign and fence.

The woman was not injured, but the car was damaged.
