A Tulsa church is marking a milestone this weekend. Asbury United Methodist celebrates 50 years.
The church started in 1962 with just nine members. Now, they have more than 8,000.
Dr. Bill Mason served as pastor for 29 years, from 1964-93. Dr. Tom Harrison was appointed senior pastor in 1993, taking the church to its current location at 6767 South Mingo in 2004.
Asbury is holding a special worship Sunday morning with pastors past and present.
