Investigators Look Into Cause Of Catoosa House Fire

An unoccupied house in Catoosa is destroyed by fire late Thursday night.

The blaze, which was first reported at about 10:30 p.m. also sparked a 3-acre grass fire on Redbud Drive.

Firefighters say the house caught on fire first and embers caught the grass on fire.

Rolling Hills Volunteer Fire Department assisted Catoosa Fire.

The cause of the house fire is suspicious because there were no utilities connected to the home at the time of the fire.

No one was injured.
