A Tulsa motorcycle dealership is still cleaning up after a Saturday evening fire.

The parts department at Roadhouse Motorsports near 61st and U.S. Highway 169 caught fire Saturday.

It was a two-alarm fire that sent smoke billowing into the night sky.

The store specializes in Indian, Triumph and Victory motorcycles as well as Polaris ATV's.

Fifty firefighters and 13 trucks battled the fire that was called in by someone driving past on U.S. Highway 169.

"It apparently started in the back section in the service area.  A lot of parts, oil, things like that caught on fire, so a lot of thick smoke," said Stan May with the Tulsa Fire Department.

Daylight showed the damage left behind. Off-road vehicles trace through pools of water on the showroom floor, debris covers tires sitting on a rack, and some vehicles show the force of the powerful fire.

Butch Drake is the store's owner. He wants his customers to know that the fire didn't take everything.

"It's a pretty good setback but we'll probably be back in business in a few days," he said.

The business wasn't destroyed, but Drake said a substantial part of it was damaged.

"Oh, the back one-third of the building which contains all of our inventory, parts department, and storage."

No one was hurt in the fire, even though some employees were in a different part of the complex when it started.

Drake says he's just going to take his time in cleaning out the building.

"We haven't attempted to pull it out yet. We've got people coming in to check it out and see what we can keep, resell, and what they need to haul out of here. So, a few days will let us know that for sure."

Drake says the store will resume its normal business hours Tuesday morning, but, he says, expect most of the work to be done outside until they are able to clean up the mess.

Tulsa Fire has ruled the cause as accidental.
