Fire Damages Tulsa Motorcycle Shop

Dozens of firefighters spent an hour battling to control a blaze at Indian Motorcycles of Tulsa Saturday night.

Passersby on Highway 169 spotted thick smoke and called 911.

Firefighters say it appears the fire started at the back of the service area where there are a lot of parts and oil.

Stan May of the Tulsa Fire Department said it was a tough fire to fight.

"We had to actually pull out at one point and attack it from an aerial ladder. We got the main part knocked down. Now, we're in there doing a little mop-up."

Firefighters are not sure yet what sparked the fire.

They say there were some employees in another building but they made it out safely.
