Crash Knocks Out Power To Tulsa Middle School

A traffic crash near Pine and Greenwood knocked out power along Pine Friday morning.

Tulsa Police say a truck pulling a trailer hit a utility pole, knocking out power to nearby Carver Middle School. 

A power line from the pole fell to the ground and energized a fence at the school.  No one was hurt but the electrified fence sparked a small grass fire.

Tulsa Fire quickly extinguished the fire.

A PSO crew restored power quickly.
