K-9 Officer Takes A Bite Out Of Crime In Catoosa Truck Chase

A chase involving a stolen work truck ended in a field Thursday morning near Catoosa.

Catoosa Police started chasing the truck just after 4 a.m. near Pine and 145th East Avenue and ended the chase in the 800 block of South 145th East Avenue in a field.

Both people in the truck jumped out and ran but one of them was caught by a Tulsa Police K-9 officer.

The man was treated for a minor dog bite by an EMSA paramedic and taken to the Tulsa County jail.

A search continues for the second person.
