Owasso Police Search For Vehicle In Fatal Hit And Run

Owasso Police have identified the victim of a fatal hit and run. The man's body was found in a ditch along Garnett near 126th Street North at about 7:14 a.m. Sunday.

He has been identified as 39-year-old Darrell Glen Abadie of Collinsville. He was last seen leaving a nearby business at about midnight.

Investigators are asking for help in finding a possible suspect vehicle in the hit and run. They're searching for a light gray or metallic silver vehicle.

It would have damage to the front end, front passenger side bumper and quarter panel area with a broken or missing headlight on the passenger side.

"It's possible the vehicle may have been traveling from northern Owasso into Collinsville, and the owner or driver may live in the area," said Sergeant Nick Boatman, Owasso Police.

Police believe Abadie was walking along the roadway some time overnight when he was struck by the vehicle.
