Two Tulsans have been charged with workers' compensation fraud, according to Attorney General Scott Pruitt's office.

Christopher Miller, 38, and Misti Rose Daigle, 26, have been charged in relation to a claim Miller filed on October 1, 2010.

Court documents say Miller filed a bogus claim for workers' compensation while he worked as a maintenance man for the Rose Rock Apartments. Miller was purportedly injured after being attacked by three men on the apartment grounds in September, 2010.

Rose Rock apartment manager Misti Rose Daigle felt sorry for Miller and told him to claim he had been injured on the job, court records say. Miller sought medical treatment for injuries to his head, neck, back and ribs.

"During the investigation, Daigle admitted to investigators she knew Miller's injuries were not work related and that she'd told him to make a false claim. The fraud resulted in Miller receiving benefits of more than $6,700 to which he was not entitled," the release states.
