Woman, Child Injured In Tulsa Apartment Fire

A woman and child were taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation after an apartment fire around 3 p.m. Wednesday.

Firefighters quickly put out the flames at The Villas at Yorktown apartments.

The fire department says this was a cooking fire caused by a pot left on the stove. The woman and child are expected to be fine.
