Three Tulsans Arrested By TPD's Organized Retail Task Force

Over $100,000 in what Tulsa Police is stolen merchandise was recovered last week after searching two locations targeted by the department's organized retail task force.

On Thursday, December 22, 2011 officers served search warrants at 6835 East 83rd Street and 5079 South 136th East Avenue.

Tulsa Police say a target of the investigation was Shannon Porter.

Police believe Porter along with several others is responsible for a larger number of retail thefts in the Tulsa area.

During the search of the two locations, officers recovered a number of stolen items including a ring valued at $36,000.

Officers arrested Shannon Porter, 26, Shanterrious Phillips, 28, and Kejuan Barnette, 28, all of Tulsa.  All three were booked into the Tulsa County jail.
