TULSA, Oklahoma -- The 66ers up-and-down month continued Friday, as the Reno Bighorns were dominant, topping Tulsa 105-88 in the squad's first game back home after a three-game road trip.
The Bighorns (3-4) got a big effort from Terrance Thomas, who turned in a double-double with 18 points and 17 boards, while Christopher Ayer scored a game-high 28 points. Reno got big production from two bench players as well, with Andre Emmett scoring 18 points and Donald Sims notching 16.
Brady Morningstar turned in a team-high 21 points, while dishing out five assists and four rebounds, with Billy Rush adding 16. However, the team shot poorly, hitting just 35 of its 76 attempts from the floor.
Tulsa needs to be ready for another quick turnaround, taking on the Springfield Armor at 7 p.m. Saturday.
