Former college football coach Lou Holtz will be the keynote speaker at The University of Tulsa's 2011 fall commencement on Saturday, December 17, 2011.

Holtz is one of the most successful coaches of all time and the only coach in the history of college football to take six different teams to a bowl game, to win five bowl games with different teams, and to have four different college teams ranked in the final Top 20 poll.
Holtz compiled a 243-127-7 career record that ranked him third in victories among active coaches and eighth in winning percentage.
Holtz has authored three books: The Fighting Spirit, Winning Everyday: A Game Plan For Success and Wins, Losses and Lessons and produced three motivational videos: Do Right, Do Right II, If Enough People Care, and Do Right 20 Years Later.
Currently, Holtz serves as a college football studio analyst on ESPN.
On May 2008, Holtz was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame.
Fall commencement is at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Donald W. Reynolds Center on the TU campus.
