Tulsa Wiener Dogs Participate In Annual Race On Ice

Normally we would say hot dog, but that wasn't the case for dozens of dachshunds in Tulsa on Sunday. They were all at the BOK Center for Winterfest's second annual "Pupsicles."

The pups participated in a wiener dog race on ice. The dogs started at one end of the ice skating rink, as friends coaxed them into running towards the finish line.

News on Six's Tara Vreeland was one of the judges as they scampered.

Some made a beeline for the finish, while others didn't realize there was a race to be run.

There was also a pet costume contest. Prizes were given for most creative, best holiday, and cutest costume.

All proceeds went to the Animal Rescue Foundation.
