Grateful burglary victims got their stolen stuff back Friday just in time for Christmas.
Bobby Mitchell, his wife and their son were out of town for a funeral when someone broke into their house and stole everything.
He says they were shocked, relieved and so grateful when police called a month later to say they'd recovered almost all of their possessions.
"It is amazing. You don't even know the relief and the pressure that's going to be taken off of us. It's great. I can't even explain it," Bobby Mitchell said.
"It always feels good to get someone their stuff back, but especially around Christmas time. It makes you feel a lot better," said Tulsa Police Cpl. Gene Watkins.
Investigators say "good old fashioned police work" led them to the suspect's home.
They say it's very unusual for burglars to store their entire amount of stolen goods in one location, especially a month after the incident.
