Former University of Oklahoma law professor Anita Hill will be in Tulsa Wednesday, November 30, 2011 to talk about and sign copies of her new book, "Reimaging Equality: Stories of Gender, Race and Finding Home."
Hill will speak at the Rudisill Regional Library at 1520 North Hartford from 6:30 to 9 p.m.
Hill, who was born in Morris, Oklahoma, is best known for her 1991 testimony before Congress during U.S. Supreme Court confirmation hearings for Clarence Thomas. She detailed workplace sexual harassment involving Thomas, something Thomas denied.
Currrently, Hill teaches courses on law, race and gender equality at Brandeis University in Massachusetts.
Her visit is sponsored by Tulsa City-County Library's African-American Resource Center and the Tulsa Library Trust.
