One Injured In Overnight Tulsa Traffic Collision

One person was taken to the hospital with injuries after a two-car collision at 41st Street and Skelly Drive overnight Sunday.

Tulsa Police say the driver of a Ford Contour ran a red light and hit a pickup truck's rear wheel at about 1:30 a.m. The collision spun the truck around, knocking one wheel completely off and cracking the opposite wheel.

The driver of the Chevy pickup, a 21-year-old man, was not injured. The driver of the passenger car, a 21-year-old woman, was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

Police say the woman was driving without a license and without insurance verification in the car. Alcohol was not a factor in the wreck, according to police.
