Claremore Teen Dies In Rural Rogers County Crash

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a 16-year-old girl is dead after a crash in rural Rogers County Wednesday evening.

The crash happened at 9:45 p.m. on EW 450 Road about a tenth of a mile east of Russell Drive.

Troopers say Mallory Massmann of Claremore was westbound on EW 450 Road and for some unknown reason swerved right, hitting a fence and a tree.

The OHP says her 1998 Oldsmobile sedan rolled onto its side and came to rest against a second tree.

She was pinned in the wreckage for about 2 hours.

Massmann was pronounced dead at the scene.  Troopers say she was wearing a seatbelt.
