The Jenks baseball team is committed to excellence on and off the field. The Trojans got to combine both in the sixth "Buddy Baseball program."

The program gives kids with autism a chance to show their moves on the diamond and gives coaches and players a chance to develop life-changing relationships.

"Next to winning a state championship, this is the most exciting day for us and our program," said Dennis Keeley, Jenks baseball coach.

The rules are relaxed, and players are awarded with trophies and pizza after the game thanks to Hideaway. The coach says he even has players come back from college, just for a chance to hang out with the kids.
