SAPULPA, Oklahoma -- A former investigator with the Creek County District Attorney's office was released from prison last month.

Ed Willingham Jr. was convicted in 2009 of molesting a neighbor's little girl and sentenced to state prison.

The Oklahoma Department of Corrections says Willingham was released on September 28, 2011. He was scheduled for release in 2012.

The Oklahoma Sex and Violent Crime Offender Registry shows Willingham has registered as a sex offender in Sapulpa and Kellyville in Creek County.

While in prison, DOC moved him to an Arkansas prison for his protection, since he was a former member of law enforcement.
