'The Wayman Tisdale Story' Premieres At Tulsa Holland Hall

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsans got a first-look at "The Wayman Tisdale Story". The movie's world premiere was held at the Holland Hall in Tulsa Saturday night.

"The Wayman Tisdale Story" tells the story of Wayman Tisdale, the NBA legend and Jazz musician, in his own words.

The documentary includes never-before-seen interviews with Tisdale about everything from growing up in Tulsa to his battle with cancer.

Saturday night's premiere has been emotional for Wayman's wife Regina Wayman.

"When we initially started this documentary I thought Wayman would be here with us you know," Regina said.

"The Wayman Tisdale Story" had already won a number of awards at several film festivals.
