Memorial Services Set For Former TU Football Player Anthony Germany

TULSA, Oklahoma -- The University of Tulsa has scheduled a memorial service for former four-year Golden Hurricane football letterman Anthony Germany, Jr.

The service will be Monday, October 24, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary of Sharp Memorial Chapel on the TU campus.

Germany died at an Oklahoma City hospital on Tuesday, October 18, 2011.

Another memorial service will be held in Oklahoma City at Peoples Church on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at 10:30 am.

Peoples Church is located at 800 East Britton Road.

Germany, 25, leaves behind is wife, former TU women's basketball player Chivis (Merriweather) Germany, parents Anthony and Karon Germany and two siblings, Anntanette and Niko.

Germany played safety at Tulsa from 2004-07 and was a three-year starter.
