TULSA, Oklahoma -- Most northeast Oklahoma residents woke up Thursday morning to the first freeze of the season.
Many communities across the region reported temps in the upper 20's and low 30's.
News On 6 meteorologist Alan Crone says Thursday morning's freeze was not a hard freeze but still could have been a problem for some tender vegetation.

Crone says things will start to warm up by the weekend, but come next Wednesday, will bring another cold front to northeastern Oklahoma with strong northerly winds and more cold temps.
