TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa Police are investigating a stabbing that put one man in the hospital with critical injuries.
It happened at the Pioneer Plaza, 900 North Elgin, around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday night.
Police arrived to find that the victim had been stabbed multiple times in the chest, and the suspect still at the scene.
Police were told the stabbing was accidental, but could not get much information from the intoxicated suspect.
"We're really not sure because our suspect is really intoxicated, but for some reason, a knife was produced and the victim was stabbed," said Tulsa Police Captain Karen Tipler.
EMSA transported the victim, described as a white male in his 50s, to a Tulsa hospital in critical condition, but was pronounced dead early Thursday.
Police say they are very familiar with both the victim and suspect as they have been called out to the same address in the past.
