Armed Robbery Suspect Arrested After East Tulsa Chase

TULSA, Oklahoma -- An armed robbery suspect was arrested after leading Sheriff Deputies on a high-speed chase in east Tulsa Tuesday.

Police say Quinton Ross, 39, robbed a Catoosa Walgreens at gunpoint around 2:00 p.m. and then drove off in a pickup truck.

A Tulsa County Sheriff's deputy saw the truck leave the Walgreens and began to pursue Ross at 193rd and Admiral.

The chase ended at 11th Street and South 145th East Avenue where the suspect crashed into a blue pickup.

Authorities say the driver of the blue pickup got out of his vehicle and helped deputies capture Ross.

Ross was arrested on complaints of eluding police, resisting arrest and attempted robbery.
