BARTLESVILLE, Oklahoma -- A Bartlesville man scheduled to be sentenced Monday in connection with a fatal shooting on December 31, 2010 has had that sentencing delayed.

Kyle Eulitt, 24, was convicted of first degree murder in the shooting death of Ronald Watts in September.

During the trial, Eulitt said he shot Watts after Watts pulled a gun. The shooting occurred at an apartment complex in the 800 block of East 8th Street.

The judge ordered the Oklahoma Department of Corrections to conduct a pre-sentence investigation.

During Monday's hearing, the court learned that pre-sentence investigation had not yet been done.

A new sentencing date has been set for November 7, 2011 at 9 a.m.
