No Construction Delays Expected On I-35 From OKC To Dallas

OKLAHOMA CITY -- University of Oklahoma football fans are expected to make their way to Dallas in mass on Friday for the big game on Saturday.

The annual Red River Rivalry kicks off at 11 a.m. Saturday.

A check with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation shows good news for motorists southbound on I-35 from Oklahoma City to Dallas.

The only caution is the amount of southbound traffic Friday afternoon and early Saturday morning.

ODOT says both directions of I-35 will be open through southern Oklahoma beginning Friday and continuing all weekend.

The same is true in Texas. Texas officials say while construction projects on I-35 will be on hold this weekend, some locations will see traffic reduced down from three lanes to two lanes on Saturday.
