TULSA, Oklahoma -- The Oklahoma City Thunder preseason game has been canceled due to the ongoing NBA labor negotiations, according to a release from the BOK Center.
The game was scheduled for October 21.
The game was not on sale to the public, so refunds are not necessary, the release states.
NBA commissioner David Stern announced that the rest of the preseason games will be canceled, and if a deal is not reached by Monday, the first two weeks of the regular season are likely to be canceled.
Stern said the league would lose $200 million from missing the preseason alone.
