TULSA, Oklahoma -- News On 6, the Better Business Bureau and Shredder's Inc. are among the companies teaming up for "Secure Your ID Day" on Saturday, October 22, 2011.
It will run from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m.
The annual event was called "Shredfest" but this year, they've changed it to "Secure Your ID Day".
Tulsa-area residents can take their personal documents and information to Shredders Inc. at 635 West 41st Street to be destroyed and recycled.
This year, there is a limit per vehicle: two 30-gallon trash bags or two large boxes and each vehicle with more than the two box/bag limit will be charged the current rate of 14 cents per pound.

In addition, McGruff the crime fighting dog will be handing out Safe Kids ID Kits. And Shredders Inc. and the BBB will also be giving away several shredders and thumb drives.
