TULSA, Oklahoma – Saturday's football game between the University of Tulsa and North Texas is an opportunity for football fans to support the family of former TU football player George Clinkscale.
Fans can drop off monetary donations for the family at donation drops outside H.A. Chapman Stadium at gates 1, 2, 6 and 7.
Clinkscale, who died Sept. 21 at the age of 24, leaves behind his fiancée Courtney Thompson, a two-year old daughter Ana'hla and his second baby girl is due this month.

As a linebacker and four-year letterman at Tulsa, Clinkscale played in 53 career games and started 33 contests, while collecting 127 tackles, 18 stops for -92 yards and four fumble recoveries in his career.

While at Tulsa, Clinkscale was a three-year letterwiner and two year starter. His senior year he started all 12 games and was credited with 34 tackles. He earned his degree in exercise sports science.

Saturday's Game time is set for 6:00 p.m. and gates open at 4:30 p.m.
The George Clinkscale memorial fund has also been set up at the Bank of America and have also set-up a drop-off location at the TU football offices for clothing and baby items for his daughters.
