Turtles Race Brings Attention To Tulsa Zoo Run

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Reptiles hit the racetrack for some fun at the Tulsa Zoo Wednesday morning. A trio of turtles had a lot of kids cheering them on as they crawled toward the finish line - lured by a delicious slice of orange.

The finale wasn't really much of a shell-shocker, though. Returning champ "Flash" was the big winner.

The race is helping bring attention to the Tulsa Zoo Run which will be held Saturday.

The Zoo Run is Oklahoma's 6th largest race with a 5k, 10k and one-mile family fun run. The 5K Tiger Challenge is an obstacle course for ages 12 and up.
