TULSA, Oklahoma -- If you are planning to visit the Tulsa State Fair next week, the City of Tulsa wants to remind you to watch where you park.

The city will be enforcing parking ordinances in streets and yards around the Expo Center.

It's encouraging fair goers to park in alternate sites and use the free shuttle to the fair.

Free parking is available at Expo Square. Additional parking will be provided at three other locations, with Park-N-Ride shuttle service provided on weekend days. The three other locations include:

  • Tulsa Promenade Mall: 41st Street and Yale Avenue (Southside Parking Garage).
  • Nathan Hale High School, 6960 E. 21st St.
  • Tulsa Public Schools Education Service Center: 3027 S. New Haven Ave.

The shuttles are scheduled to run both weekends:

  • Friday, September 30th and October 7th, 6:30 p.m. to Midnight
  • Saturday, October 1st and 8th, 10a.m. to Midnight.
  • Sunday, October 2nd and 9th, 11 a.m. to 11p.m.

Illegal parking can result in fines ranging from $30 to $500 and be towed at the owner's expense.

Reports of illegally parked cars or blocked streets can be reported to the City's Customer Care Center by calling 918-596-2100 or by e-mailing mac@cityoftulsa.org.
