New Library Dedicated Monday On OU-Tulsa Campus

The free standing, 22,000 square foot building more than doubles the size of the former library at the campus at 41st and Yale.

TULSA, Oklahoma -- University of Oklahoma's president David Boren and other officials were on hand for the dedication Monday morning for the $8.5 million Schusterman Library on the OU-Tulsa Schusterman Center Campus.

The free standing, 22,000 square foot building more than doubles the size of the former library at the campus at 41st and Yale.

Also on hand for the event was OU-Tulsa president Dr. Gerald Clancy and Lynn Schusterman.

Funding for the new building was provided by the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation and a bond issue passed by the Oklahoma Legislature
